Juno Athletics NIT Rule Reminders for Saturday 3/22/25

At Brick NO BEER CANS OR BOTTLES are allowed. AT ALL. This includes the parking lots. (We will not be examining red solo cups.)
*PERSONS FOUND DRINKING OUT OF CANS AND BOTTLES WILL BE SENT HOME FROM THE TOURNAMENT.*
We are tired of telling the same people the same things over and over.
Teams need to park in designated parking areas - this will be up to Brick

You may not hit on the soccer fields or football fields at Drum Point Park even if those sports are not using the fields.


*All bats need to have the 240 USSSA thumbprint and must be tested/stickered prior to game play.*
We are testing the team bats all at one time. No individual players will be bat tested.
You need to gather the bats and bring them over at once. No more than 20 bats will be stickered for any team.
It is the batter's responsibility to make sure the bat has a sticker before going to hit. If no sticker and correctly protested the result is an inning-ending out.


Please get to the field early so you can get your bats stickered before the game. We will not be able to hold games up for players to get their bats tested.


We are playing the GSL rules this weekend. Please note all substitutes must be announced now to the home plate umpire and also please note the courtesy runner rule nationally is now anyone on the roster.

Courtesy runner rule 1 per inning. If the batting spot comes up in the order with a runner on base, it's an out. You cannot substitute him to get around this.


Home Run rule

D - DHH plus 3 then inning ending outs - National rule

E East Brick - DHH plus 1 then inning ending outs - National rule

E West Hamilton - DHH plus 2 then just outs - fences are a little shy of 300 so no inning ending outs at Warwick Park


Time limit in all E games up until final

At 60 minutes the umpire will announce 60 minutes / finish the inning you are in and play one more - you can tie in pool play

In the Men's D

Loser bracket games same rule as above, no ties

Winner bracket games the umpire will announce 65 minutes / finish the inning etc. no ties


Men's E

Pool play games into single Elim / the tie breaker is USSSA ONLINE SYSTEM / head-to-head for 2 teams then runs given up to separate - NOT run differential

The HIGHER SEED is home in elimination - if two LIKE seeded teams it's a flip - it does not matter what your record or tiebreaker is if teams from different pool

In Hamilton only the top 3 teams make elimination


Rosters:

Players need to be on your online roster or approved as Guest players. In the Men's D we are not doing any Guest players. In the Men's E I will allow one of the three drop down players to be a D Elite tag player. This must be emailed in prior to Friday 8pm. After that time, you can still add players online until first pitch but no guest or exception.


I will send an email Friday evening at 8pm with any approved guest players in the D and payout information for both divisions. The guest players will also be on the event feed.

Final Mgr Notes

The only exception player is Jason Langdon for DreamWorn E - everyone else should be on the roster
If anyone sent me something and I missed it let me know


Payout pool (done by numbers in bracket) - $1500 in total, split around


Men's E Hamilton - 1st place $275 - 2nd place $100

Men's E Brick - 1st place - $300 - 2nd place $125

Men's D - 1st Place - World Berth - $450 - 2nd place - $250
