Final notes for Managers:


A reminder that teams need to be on good behavior tomorrow

As you all may have heard, there was an issue at the complex last week, and we cannot have a repeat

Entry both divisions is $275 plus $22 per game

No drinking at Brick (cans or bottles)

Bat testing both divisions bats to be brought as a team


Payout pool is approx $2000 in total

Mens C winner - $350

Mens D winner - $600

Mens D second - $350

Balls are included. Teams must retrieve HR and foul balls though.



At Brick NO BEER CANS OR BOTTLES are allowed. AT ALL. This includes the parking lots. (We will not be examining red solo cups.)
*PERSONS FOUND DRINKING OUT OF CANS AND BOTTLES WILL BE SENT HOME FROM THE TOURNAMENT.*
We are tired of telling the same people the same things over and over.
Teams need to park in designated parking areas - this will be up to Brick

You may not hit on the soccer fields or football fields at Drum Point Park even if those sports are not using the fields.
I recommend hitting on the small field at the grade school if it is or behind field 4 in LF.


*All bats need to have the 240 USSSA thumbprint and must be tested/stickered prior to game play.*
We are testing the team bats all at one time. No individual players will be bat tested.
You need to gather the bats and bring them over at once. No more than 20 bats will be stickered for any team.
It is the batter's responsibility to make sure the bat has a sticker before going to hit. If no sticker and correctly protested the result is an inning-ending out.


Please get to the field early so you can get your bats stickered before the game. We will not be able to hold games up for players to get their bats tested.


USSSA rules apply this weekend. Please note all substitutes must be announced now to the home plate umpire and also please note the courtesy runner rule nationally is now anyone on the roster.

Courtesy runner rule 1 per inning. If the batting spot comes up in the order with a runner on base, it's an out. You can not substitute him to get around this.


Home Run rule

C - 5 then just outs - National rule

D - 3 then inning ending outs - National rule

E - 2 then just outs - all fields throughout the tournament - fences are a little shy of 300 so no inning ending outs at Pine Park


Pool play

Time limit

At 60 minutes the umpire will announce 60 minutes / finish the inning you are in and play one more - you can tie

Elimination untimed unless weather dictates otherwise


All teams play 2 pool play games into single elim the tie breaker is USSSA ONLINE SYSTEM head to head for 2 teams then runs given up to seperate - NOT run differential

All divisions the HIGHER SEED is home in elimination - if two LIKE seeded teams it's a flip - it does not matter what your record or tiebreaker is if teams from different pool

Men's C only three of the four teams will make elimination.


Rosters:

Players need to be on your online roster or approved as Guest players. In the Men's D we are not doing any Guest players. In the Men's E I will allow one of the three drop down players to be a D Elite tag player. This must be emailed in prior to Friday 8pm


I will send an email tomorrow evening at 8pm with any approved guest players in the D and payout information for both divisions. The guest players will also be on the event feed.

Men's C winner and top 2 in the D and E will receive a payout, to be determined and sent Friday night 8pm.


After 9pm on Friday evening my phone will be shut off.
